X-Setup Plugins
Xteq X-Setup is the ultimate in system configuration or "tweaking" as some people would say. It covers all types of options and has many useful features.
Because these settings change often and fast, X-Setup uses plug-ins - they are very small (2-4 kB) so updating them is easy too. X-Setup can even download updated or new plug-ins directly from the Xteq Systems site. Best of all, you can always view the source for any plug-in! And with the also available X-Setup SDK you can even create your own plug-ins or wizards and use them in X-Setup.
As they said, I have created my own plugins - and they are here for you to download....
BNY ContextNew File Contents |
All the files created with the "Context Menu -> New" from context menu are usally empty. This plugin gives you the option to create files with content in them. Just open X-Setup, Click on the 'Add Data to 'New' file' button to add data to the files that are created by the 'New' command. Click this button and enter the file extension. Please enter only the file that is in the 'New' menu. Do not enter the beginning dot. The 'Remove 'New' File Contents' button is for removing the file content without removing the file from the 'New' menu. Just click this and enter the file extension. Please enter only the file that is in the 'New' menu. Do not enter the beginning dot. For Eg. all the batch file you create can have the words @echo off at the top, for perl files, #!/usr/bin/perl at the top etc. The rest I leave to your imagination. |
